Palo Alto, CA – May 3, 2006 – iControl Networks, Inc., a leading provider of active personal content via the Web, today announced that it has joined the Z-Wave Alliance, a consortium of leaders in the digital home market dedicated to solidifying Z-Wave as the standard for wireless home control products. iControl Networks’ products and service will be integrated with Z-Wave in Fall 2006.

The iControl service offers an easy-to-install, easy-to-use, affordable application that will help users quickly deploy, install and manage Z-Wave-based devices. iControl users will have access to a broad array of devices for use in a wide range of applications, making both Z-Wave products and the iControl service increasingly attractive to a larger audience.

“The iControl service and the Z-Wave technology build upon each other,” said Reza Raji, president and CEO of iControl Networks. “The Z-Wave standard will spur a rich set of affordable devices that consumers can easily manage through iControl service. It’s the perfect marriage of complementary platforms for the mass market.”

“We are thrilled to have an industry leader in the home monitoring space such as iControl Networks as a member of the Z-Wave Alliance,” said Steve Troyer, chairman of the Z-Wave Alliance and VP of marketing for Zensys, developer of Z-Wave. “We remain focused on growing the Z-Wave ecosystem and view iControl's addition as a sure sign that we are achieving that goal. We look forward to working closely with iControl Networks to meet consumer's needs for increased control of their home networks and systems.”
